Activation Instructions

All product keys sold by Key Expertises LLC are genuine retail licenses. To guarantee the security and authenticity of your software, we require all customers to download installation media directly from Microsoft’s official portals.

Microsoft Office (PC & Mac)

Follow these steps to link your Office product key to your personal Microsoft account and download the software.

Go to the Official Setup Page

Navigate to Microsoft’s official software setup portal. You will need to sign in with your existing Microsoft Account (or create a new one).

Enter Your Product Key

Enter the 25-character product key you received in your delivery email from Key Expertises LLC. Select your country and language.

Download and Install

Once the key is bound to your account, click “Next” and then “Download.” Run the downloaded installer file and follow the on-screen prompts to complete the installation. Your software will activate automatically over the internet.

Windows 11 & Windows 10

Follow these steps if you need to download the operating system or activate an existing installation.

Download the Media Creation Tool (If needed)

If you are installing Windows from scratch, download the official Media Creation Tool directly from Microsoft to create a bootable USB drive.

Activate During Installation

If you are performing a fresh installation, you will be prompted to enter your product key during the setup process. Enter the 25-character key provided in your email.

Activate an Existing Installation

If Windows is already installed, go to Start > Settings > Update & Security > Activation (or System > Activation in Windows 11). Click “Change product key,” enter your new key, and click “Next” to activate online.

Download Evaluation Media

Download the official ISO from the Microsoft Evaluation Center.

Convert and Activate

If you installed an Evaluation version, you must convert it to a full retail version using the DISM command in an elevated Command Prompt before your retail key will be accepted. For example:

DISM /online /Set-Edition:ServerStandard /ProductKey:XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX /AcceptEula
